I had my hospital appointment and I can confirm, thankfully, that I do not have gall stones. So, quite what was wrong with me to cause so much pain a month or so ago, is quite unknown. Luckily I haven't been in such pain for a while, I get brief moments but nothing traumatic. And I hope it never returns.

I'm contemplating the gym later, although I might just dust my bike off and go for a ride along the seafront if this glorious sunshine keeps up. I might look in the bike shop (or Argos) and see if there's a thing to measure distance/speed on a push bike. Maybe borrow a library book on bicycles as I still don't understand how to make the most of the 15 gears on bike.

It will be a relaxing day either way.

On the baby front, I've been reading my magazine 'Red' (which previously I felt was 'too old' for me, but the last two months I've been identifying with a lot of the people/stories in there) and found some amazing stories of family women who have started business or gone travelling with their children. It has reassured me somewhat that I could have kids AND a life, as I was worried I'm only just finding my own identity as a Mrs rather than Miss, nevermind the terrifying leap to Mummydom.

Well, I guess I am truly growing up... ooo-errr.
